The weight of forgiveness

A Star Wars fan film…again?
"The Weight of Forgiveness" is a very original Italian short film. Although it refers to the universe of Star Wars using lightsabers, it has plenty of symbolic references and has a narrative autonomy that makes this movie readable and interpretable under different points of view -psychological, religious, pacifist, ecologists-.
The movie is full of realistic fights, actually more fought than acted -they are not choreographies, but real duels fought according to formalized combat styles-, by two of the major Italian experts of the Lightsaber’s Discipline, Eugenio Di Fraia and Andrea Iannini. They are also the directors, authors and special-effects editors of the movie. 

The Weight of forgiveness has been chosen by Cinema Arcadia di Melzo -one of the biggest and most technological advanced movie theatre all over the world- has one of the support events -from 16th to 20th December 2015- of the launch of latest SW’s episode "The Force Awakens".

Un film sui Star Wars ... ancora?
"The Weight of Forgiveness" è un cortometraggio italiano molto originale. Anche se ci si riferisce all'universo di Star Wars con spade laser, ha un sacco di riferimenti simbolici e ha un'autonomia narrativa che rende questo film leggibile e interpretabile sotto diversi punti di vista psicologico, religioso, pacifista, ecologista.

Il film è pieno di lotte realistici, non sono coreografie, ma veri e propri duelli combattuti da due dei maggiori esperti italiani dei combattimento con spade laser, Eugenio Di Fraia e Andrea Iannini, che sono anche i registi, autori e realizzatori degli effetti speciali del film.

The Weight of Forgiveness è stato selezionato dal Cinema Arcadia di Melzo, uno dei più grandi e più tecnologicamente avanzati cinema in tutto il mondo, come uno degli eventi di supporto al lancio dell'ultimo episodio di Star Wars "Il risveglio della Forza"
